Actors and director
It has been quite exceptional that this group of performers and their director have managed to perform drama plays since March, when they participated in the Francophonie week with their play entitled LA REPETITION, at the Alliance Francaise of Lusaka. They later performed the play THE REHEARSAL in April and May, and now they are at it again, with a new exciting production entitled DESPERATE LOVE which opens on Tuesday 19 May at the Alliance Francaise, at 19hr.
The actors skills have progressed immensely and they now need a good Zambian crowd. Those who have witnessed their last performances say that the actors’ level of acting is very high, and that their plays are very entertaining, original and excellent.
The director, Tsungaï Garisé is a Zimbabwean theatre and film writer, director and producer who is dedicated in the development of theatre and film skills in Africa. He works between France and African. Tsungai is also an acting coach and gives professional acting training classes at the Alliance Francaise to contribute in the development of acting, theatre and film in Zambia.
